Medical Transcriber At Home?
- These are pretty much a scam! They send you information at a hefty price claiming you can make 1, 000 / day. But who hires you after that? And who's going to pay that much too? Wouldn't EVERYONE rush out and do this if it were really this profitable? Trust me, don't fall for it. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Please check this site for the top "Work at home" scams: medical transcribing is listed: scambusters.org / work - at - home.html This site tried out 37 different "Work from home" programs, and only 2 actually made money. Check out those 2 at the bottom of this site. It also tells you what's wrong with all the others: proconsumerguides.org / pcg / Work - From - Home / I agree with the person below. I read that jobs where you can work from home mostly start as a job in the office, where you hold the job successfully for a while before they realize you could do the same work from home. That's still quite rare, though. I tried really hard to get a job like this, too but it's just too good to be true
- Perhaps you should try being a chacha guide instead. Visit chacha.com, it is a legit company. - This is second hand information - my friend does this. She had to work in the actual office for 6 months before they would allow her to work from home. Her day at home is pretty much exactly like her day was at the office, except she is in sweatpants. She is not able to care for her children while she is working and needs to have someone there to do it for her. I guess her office sends her random emails that have to be answered before a certain length of time before she gets in trouble for being away from her desk. She does make a decent salary, but she is very, very busy. She would very much like to be able to look after her own kids and work - but it doesn't work. Really the only advantages are saving money on gas for the commute and saving money on career type clothing. Which is a lot - do not get me wrong. But if you're hoping to be able to get rid of child care costs, it is not really possible
