I was supposed to be tested for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and due to what I've researched its something that requires almost immediate medical attention. I should also mention that I was declined the insurance through the state because I left school for a few months and they won't accept me now because my old job is ridiculous and won't give me my payroll information- PCOS isn't a life - threatening condition. Having said that, you would do well to contact your planned parenthood clinic and ask if they have a gynecologist on staff and if so set up an appt. Also, many communities have "free clinics", depending on your circumstances you may be able to be seen there. Call your local branch of the Dept. of Health and Human services and ask for some #'s for low to no cost medical clinics. In your case, I would think the planned parenthood clinic would be the most appropriate as they focus on female reproductive health, which sounds like your primary concern. Good luck
