What is the difference between a Medical istant and a Registered Nurse?
I want to go into the medical field but i want to be more than just a nurse. I wanted to be a doctor but that's too much school and too much money. So i thought a Physicians istant would be close enough but that is still a lot of both. And so i heard about medical isting and i wanted to know what they are responsible for as in their duties and their yearly and or hourly salary and same for the registered nurse, their duties and salaries. As for the Wages it Varies, and depends on your Experience, I would guess $9 - 15 per hr. Responsibilities are Front and Back office Duties, which involves Triarge, Phlebotomy, UA's, taking Vitals / Height / Weight / Logging Patients Info on Computer etc. , before the Doctor visits the Patient. As for a Register Nurse, RN you do not want to Cl them with Medical istants love} or you may make a few Enemies before you Start. smile!. RN's Education is more Intense and Lots more College and Money than MA's, you can become a Medical istant in less than a Year at some Colleges, and if you were to take the "Limited X - Ray", {which is an et} course which is Offered by most Colleges is another 3 - 4 months max, so you're looking at less than 18 months of School. - You do not need anything more than a high school diploma or GED. M. A. 's are about as low as you can be in the medical field and I personally would never allow an M. A. to ist in anything other than cleaning empty exam rooms or sharpening pencils. They certainly do not belong inside an exam room with a patient. You're better off being anything else unless you want to avoid any kind of education
- Well, a medical istant is an entry level position; makes about $9 - 15 / hour. They ist PAs, MDs, NPs, etc. They do front office & back office. Back office consists of helping prepare patients for exams, isting, do vision checks, hearing, setting up trays, some medications, wound care, etc. I think most people have explained nursing thoroughly on the health care site. But you initially state you want to more than a nurse. so would you be happy as a nurse? There are many areas to nursing - you can do some exploration research to see if one area appeals to you

how are you supposed to claim the expenses that you do overseas. while you are still in overseas. u must have the original receipts, you can go to the company website, download a claim form, fill it and attach all the receipts and mail that to the company usually companies (medical transcriber)
